Crash Alert: Bicyclist Dies After Being Struck By Passing Car on W Mount Houston
HOUSTON, TX – A bicyclist was struck and killed by a car while he was riding his bike on the 1300 block of West Mount Houston Road on Wednesday night.
According to KTRK, the cyclist was crossing West Mount Houston Rd when a westbound vehicle struck him at around 8 p.m. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office told KTRK that the cyclist later died at a hospital.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police. It is not clear whether impairment was a factor in this accident.
