Lori L. Brown

lori brownLori L. Brown is a born and raised Houstonian and proud Texan. After graduating at the top of her class at Northwest Academy (Houston Christian) her education path led her to the University of Texas at Austin. While attending school, Lori also worked part-time for a premier personal injury firm, whetting her appetite for the law. After only 3 1/2 years, Lori graduated with a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Psychology.

Returning home to Houston, Lori was hired by a large and prominent personal injury law firm in Houston. Getting her foot in the door, she began her journey in the practical education and execution of a personal injury case. While working full-time at the firm, she attended law school at South Texas College of Law at night. She often says that her best education was her day job, coupled with the legal theory she was learning at school. She gained invaluable insight into the real workings of a personal injury case, which have made her the skilled and knowledgeable lawyer she is today.

After graduating from law school she continued to work at the firm and cut her teeth on various types of personal injury cases. During her time at the firm, she successfully negotiated thousands of cases through both litigation and pre-litigation means, taking countless depositions and attending hundreds of mediations.

After 20 plus years of working for someone else, she felt the time was right to become her own boss. Along with her colleague Jeff Musslewhite, they joined the counsel of McDonald Worley. Their firm focuses on personal injury cases with a specialty in trucking and commercial injury cases. Over the years, Lori has handled cases from beginning to end, literally from the first phone call to the jury’s verdict. Lori has been there for her clients every step of the way and continues to provide top-notch legal service to her clients.
