Scott Fraser Associate Attorney
Scott Fraser is an Associate Attorney at McDonald Worley, and he also serves as “Of Counsel” for Junell & Associates. Starting in fall of 2018, Scott will teach negotiations as an Adjunct Professor at South Texas College of Law.
Scott is dedicated to several McDonald Worley mass tort dockets, including Transvaginal Mesh, IVC Filter, Invokana, and more. Prior to joining the firm, Scott worked for Junell & Associates and Potts Law Firm, LLP, as the lead attorney on client communication for the transvaginal mesh docket – a nationwide settlement that involved 40,000 clients. Scott also assisted in the administration and processing of that docket.
Scott graduated from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, and taught high school before deciding to move to Texas to pursue his dream of becoming an attorney.
In May of 2014, Scott received his Juris Doctorate degree from South Texas College of Law where he focused his studies on complex civil litigation, dispute resolution and commercial law. While in law school, Scott participated on his law school’s arbitration and mediation teams, highlighted by his team’s 1st overall placement in the INADR International Mediation Tournament.
As an active member in the legal community, Scott coaches law students at South Texas College of Law in preparation for their negotiation and mediation tournaments. While waiting for his bar results, Scott performed over 200 hours of pro bono legal services at the Randal O. Sorrels Legal clinic for less fortunate individuals in the Houston area who could not afford legal services.
