Who Should Apply
This award seeks female students with diverse backgrounds of race, ethnicity or faith, obtain the degree of their choice from any eligible college, university, graduate school, or law school. Applicants are encouraged to apply in fields in which women have traditionally been underrepresented: science, math, engineering, technology, business, and law. Applicants must be enrolled in or committed to attend a college, university, or professional school during the current calendar year in which they applied for the scholarship. Applicants must be U.S. citizens at the time of their application. Applicants should not be immediate family members of employees of the McDonald Worley law office.
Scholarship Description
We are a diverse law firm primarily operating out of Texas with offices in California and Washington D.C. This scholarship is intended to help students with high character, above-average intellect as demonstrated by academic achievement and a commitment to community service. Our scholarship is open to any American citizen, who will be attending a college, university, graduate school, or law school in the United States during the current calendar year. Only students who have a 3.0 GPA or higher may apply for this scholarship.
This $1,000 one-time scholarship award will be sent directly to the Financial Aid and Scholarships Offices of the winner’s college or university and can be used to cover the cost of tuition, fees, housing, and/or books up to the Cost of Attendance. This scholarship is not renewable. Applicants will need to submit an official transcript and one letter of recommendation from an employer or professor/teacher in addition to submitting an essay.

Deadline: All written scholarship submission materials must be received by 11:59 PM CST on the final day of the calendar year. The winner will be announced on January 31 of the following year and will receive a one-time award of $1,000 in one lump sum.
