Matt Palamountain

Matt Palamountain joined McDonald Worley PC in September as Chief Financial Officer. With over 30 years of financial experience and, as the Managing Director of the Financial Advisory Group at HSBC, he was primarily responsible for delivering the firm’s financial advisory services and investment banking products, with a focus on developing customized financial strategies to meet the needs of some of the world’s largest multinational corporations and money managers. He has executed numerous transactions for both public and privately held companies, advising a wide range of constituents, including investors, management teams, Boards of Directors, and creditor groups. He began his career at Goldman Sachs in Fixed Income Trading and later served in senior positions at Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, Banc of America Securities, Cowen, and HSBC Global Banking. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Business Administration in Finance & Investments from the University of Cambridge.
