HOUSTON, TX – An unborn child was tragically lost in a collision on Fondren Drive on Saturday, a press release issued by the Houston Police Department reports.

According to the memo, a 15-year-old was traveling in a Nissan Rogue when the car was suddenly hit by a blue Dodge Challenger exiting 11300 Fondren Drive. The 15-year-old teenager, who was 9 months pregnant at the time of the crash, was rushed to a nearby hospital. Her baby, unfortunately, did not survive.
