Two Los Angeles police officers were injured in a car accident that happened in the early hours of Saturday. Four people in total were injured in this accident.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened forty minutes after midnight, close to the intersection of Vernon Avenue and Broadway.
The police officers were responding to an accident in the area of 54th Street and Broadway when they crashed with another vehicle at the intersection.
Paramedics who responded to the incident had no other choice but to extricate the two people who were trapped in the second vehicle.
Los Angeles Police Department reported that the two officers and two civilians were immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment.
