Harris County Sheriff deputies got a call to respond to the 2900 block of West Mount Houston Road around 7:30 p.m.

They responded to a big accident that involved at least six vehicles.  The accident was caused by a car that was going at high speed while changing lanes, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said.

The driver and passenger of the speeding car were pronounced dead at the scene. A father and twelve-year-old son in another car were taken by ambulance to an area hospital, Gonzalez reported in a tweet.

The Sheriff’s Office did not share any other details about the accident.

Being injured in a car crash requires medical help, but also remaining calm and thinking about the future. This means that if you can, you should immediately call your attorney.

Accidents with multiple vehicles are complicated cases because often more than one driver is liable for the collision.

Going through the process on your own will be stressful and complex, which is why it is a better idea to hire a car accident attorney who has experience with such cases. You are going to fight against multiple insurance companies that will do their best to underpay you or even deny you the claim.
