Harris County Sheriff deputies got a call to respond to the 2900 block of West Mount Houston Road around 7:30 p.m.
They responded to a big accident that involved at least six vehicles. The accident was caused by a car that was going at high speed while changing lanes, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said.
The driver and passenger of the speeding car were pronounced dead at the scene. A father and twelve-year-old son in another car were taken by ambulance to an area hospital, Gonzalez reported in a tweet.
The Sheriff’s Office did not share any other details about the accident.
