SUV Crashes in a Subway Restaurant and Injures a Child

A horrible car accident injured a child on Long Island. When an SUV crashed in a Subway Restaurant; the driver was not able to stop the vehicle, and the next thing he knew, he was inside a Subway restaurant.

There was barely any time to get out of the way as the vehicle crashed into the restaurant on Saturday afternoon in Farmingdale, at the Boundary Plaza mall.

The driver, Seung Kim of Flushing, said his car’s engine was making unusual noises, as he pulled at the parking lot.

He stepped his feet on the brakes but was not able to stop the vehicle from hitting the windows of the restaurant.

Witnessес say children were eating at the moment of the accident; they saw a little girl crying and another one bleeding from her head. According to the police report, the child was inside the restaurant when the SUV crashed inside; the child suffered smaller injuries from debris. No other person was hurt.

The driver had to overcome several barriers to reach the restaurant, including a cement parking block, a yellow metal column, and two steps before crashing through the glass window.

People who were at the mall were shocked by the crash but are happy that no one was killed.

Police informed that the crash was an unfortunate accident.
