Crash Alert: Two killed in violent collision with turning semi

HUMBLE, TX – Two people died after crashing into an 18-wheeler that was making a U-turn on FM 1960 Sunday night.

According to KHOU, Jonathan Davis was driving a Kia sedan west on FM 1960 at around 11 p.m. Sunday when he collided with an eastbound 18-wheeler that was making a U-turn into the westbound lanes near Richey Rd. The Kia—which did not have its headlights on at the time—went underneath the truck, shearing the roof from its frame.

Davis and Pershella Howard, his passenger, died at the scene. The driver of the truck was unhurt.
