A Maryland man was charged for a murder after he opened fire and killed one person. The shooting happened almost one year ago.

Thirty-nine-year-old Paul William Daniel, of Greenbelt, is now facing charges for second-degree murder.

On January 26, 2019, in the afternoon, around 3:36 p.m., the police responded to a call in the 4100 block of Hayes Street NE. People who called the police reported hearing sounds of a gunshot. When the police arrived on the scene, the officers said they found a man who was severely injured by multiple gunshot wounds.

Later, police identified the victim as a fifty-nine-year-old Kevin Jerome Harrison, resident of northeast Washington DC.
