HOUSTON, TX – A woman was killed in a hit-and-run on the North Freeway on Monday afternoon, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim, 54-year-old Karen Wilcox, was on the ground of a parking lot located at 10275 North Freeway, for unknown reasons. A truck in the parking lot struck Wilcox, who sustained fatal injuries. The driver of the truck fled the scene.
