Crash Alert: Two pulled from fiery wreck on the Southwest Freeway

HOUSTON, TX – Two people were pulled from a fiery wreck on the Southwest Freeway Saturday morning, according to Fox 26 Houston.

Authorities say the car crashed near the 4100 block of the Southwest Freeway around 1:30 a.m. that morning. The car burst into flames after crashing, but a wrecker driver had extinguished the fire before firefighters arrived. Both the driver and passenger inside the vehicle were pulled from the car using the Jaws of Life.

The victims were transported to a local hospital after the incident. Authorities believe speeding may have led to the accident. The crash remains under investigation.
