Crash Alert: Suspected Drunk Driver Crashes, Kills Passenger

HOUSTON, TX – Prosecutors have charged a suspected drunk driver following a fatal crash in Humble on Sunday.

KPRC reports that 35-year-old Eliud Isael Martinez Sanchez lost control of his gray GMC Yukon shortly before 6 a.m. Sunday, driving it into a ditch and then into a residential driveway at 6000 Glen Lee Drive. The Yukon overturned onto its driver’s side, killing a 36-year-old female passenger.

Sanchez was recovering in an area hospital as of Monday. Police believe he was intoxicated at the time of the crash.
