Crash Alert: Suspect collides with officer during Jersey Village police chase

JERSEY VILLAGE, TX – A suspect collided with an officer during a police chase in Jersey Village on the morning of Friday, August 7, KHOU 11 reports.

The officer attempted to stop the suspect at approximately 3 a.m., but the suspect fled instead, leading sheriff’s deputies and a Texas DPS helicopter on a chase along Highway 290 and FM 529. The suspect eventually became trapped in 11700 block of Wolf Run — a dead end — and tried to make a U-turn to get out of the area. This is when the vehicle crashed into a patrol car.

No one was seriously injured. Four suspects were arrested after the collision.
