LA PORTE, TX – Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that killed a pedestrian in the 10900 block of W. Fairmont Parkway on Wednesday night, KHOU reports.
According to KHOU, a Harris County Pct. 8 deputy spotted the victim on the side of the road just before midnight Wednesday. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
First responders located various car parts around the scene, leading police to believe it was a hit-and-run. Police are still investigating and attempting to locate a suspect.
