Crash Alert: Person on scooter struck and killed in hit-and-run on Chimney Rock Road

HOUSTON, TX – A person on a scooter was struck and killed in a hit-and-run on Chimney Rock Road on Sunday morning, according to the team at Click2Houston.

A passing vehicle hit the young male while he was riding his scooter through the crosswalk near the 2600 block of Chimney Rock Road. A second vehicle hit the victim—possibly a juvenile— shortly after the initial collision. Neither vehicle stopped at the scene, and are currently being sought by authorities.

The scooter rider was declared dead at the scene.
