Crash Alert: Pedestrian struck and killed by vehicle in south Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian was killed while crossing a south Houston street on the morning of Friday, July 10, reports Click2Houston. 

The female victim was reportedly crossing Cullen Boulevard and Orem Drive at 5:40 a.m. when she was struck by a passing vehicle. It is unclear whether or not she was declared dead at the scene or was taken to a nearby hospital.

A representative from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the woman was crossing in an area marked for pedestrians. The incident remains under investigation.
