HOUSTON, TX – A passenger was critically injured after a pickup truck crashed into a ditch along the Northwest Freeway on Wednesday night, according to the team at KHOU 11.
The pickup was traveling along a Northwest Freeway feeder road near Little York when it suddenly veered into a ditch on the side of the road, crashing into a concrete highway sign. The driver fled the scene, leaving behind a passenger in the truck. The unidentified passenger was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
The driver was eventually found in a nearby emergency room.
