Crash Alert: One Injured In Collision Involving Houston Police Cruiser
HOUSTON, TX – One person was injured in a collision on the Southwest Freeway near Bellaire Boulevard when a Jeep struck the front of a police cruiser while changing lanes.
Abc13 reports that the accident happened at around 1:20 a.m. on Tuesday in the eastbound lanes of the Southwest Freeway. The crash forced both the Jeep and police cruiser into the highway’s concrete divider.
The driver of the Jeep was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Neither of the two Houston police officers in the cruiser was injured.
