Crash Alert: Motorcyclist dies in crash on the North Freeway

HOUSTON, TX – A motorcyclist died of injuries sustained in a collision on the North Freeway on Tuesday, a press release from the Houston Police Department reports.

A stalled vehicle in the freeway’s 14100 block caused the driver of a Ford Freestyle to slow down to avoid colliding with it. Unfortunately, a motorcyclist behind the Freestyle wasn’t able to brake in time, and slammed his Harley Davidson into the back of the Ford.

Emergency responders rushed him to Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital, but he could not be saved.

Police are continuing to investigate.
