HOUSTON, TX – A 22-year-old man was killed in a crash on South Loop East on the morning of Tuesday, August 4, according to the Houston Police Department.
Authorities say the unidentified victim was driving his Honda Civic near 5500 South Loop East when he suddenly swerved and sped across the main traffic lanes. He hit a tree in the freeway’s median and was ejected from his car. He was killed upon impact.
An investigation into the incident remains open.
