HOUSTON, TX – An intoxicated driver slammed into a police cruiser in southwest Houston on Saturday night, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Two officers were responding to a call near the Southwest Freeway’s intersection with Hillcroft Avenue when their vehicle was hit by a black Chevy Camaro that failed to yield to the cruiser.
No one was hospitalized, but the driver of the civilian vehicle and both officers sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Camaro was determined to be driving while intoxicated and was subsequently arrested.
