HOUSTON, TX – A Houston police officer was involved in a collision on Highway 59 when the driver of a Jeep struck the officer’s patrol car at the intersection of Hamilton and Pierce Streets.
A crash that caused an HPD patrol car to land on Hwy 59 s/b has resulted in minor injuries to an officer. The officer entered the intersection of Pierce & Hamilton when he was struck by a Jeep. HPD is investigating the crash’s circumstances.

The Houston Police Department reported the incident through Twitter on Sunday, Dec. 13. The department is still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident. The officer, who has not been identified, sustained minor injuries. The Jeep’s driver was not injured.
