Crash Alert: High-speed chase ends at Wayside Medical Plaza

HOUSTON, TX – Two suspects led Houston police on a high-speed chase Wednesday afternoon that ended when the suspects’ pickup truck crashed near Wayside Medical Plaza just before 6 p.m.

According to Click2Houston, the pursuit started at 5:12 p.m. when police attempted to pull over the suspects’ vehicle for a routine traffic stop. For the next 45 minutes, the suspect led police on a chase through Houston. At 5:51 p.m., the chase stopped when the suspect crashed into another vehicle and the suspects attempted to flee on foot. They were detained by authorities a short time later.

It is not clear whether the suspects or the driver of the vehicle they crashed into sustained injuries.
