HOUSTON, TX – An elderly woman died in a collision involving four vehicles on the Southwest Freeway on Sunday, the Houston Chronicle reports.
According to their coverage, a speeding SUV rear-ended the woman’s white Toyota sedan in the highway’s 7600 block. The victim, the only occupant of the vehicle, died from the impact.
The accident also caused two other nearby cars to crash. Fortunately, no one else was injured.
Police are working to determine whether the driver of the SUV was impaired at the time.
