Crash Alert: Distracted driver runs Missouri City teen off road

MISSOURI CITY, TX – A Missouri City teenager suffered minor injuries after a distracted driver ran her off of the road while she was riding her bicycle in her own neighborhood.

Click2Houston reports that Georgia Steif, 15, was riding her bike home from the local library last Thursday when a speeding driver appeared on her left side. She was at the intersection of Sienna Springs Drive and Leafwing Trail when the driver forced her off of the street and over a curb, throwing her from her bike.

Steif suffered cuts and bruises. The distracted driver did not stop, instead fleeing the scene.
