Crash Alert: Collision involving police vehicle injures 4

HOUSTON, TX –  Four people were injured Tuesday when a a Porsche 911 collided with a police vehicle at an intersection in West Houston, the Houston Chronicle reports.

According to HPD Sgt. Dionne Griffiths, the crash occurred shortly before midnight at the intersection of Fairdale Lane and Fountain View Drive, when the Porsche’s driver made a left-hand turn into the path of the police cruiser. Griffths said the driver’s field of vision may have been obscured by a large construction crane.

The two officers in the cruiser and two men in the Porsche were taken to a local hospital with injuries not deemed life-threatening.
