Crash Alert: 1 dead, 1 injured in early morning crash on Space Center Blvd

HOUSTON, TX – A man died and a woman was seriously injured after crashing into a tree on the 19500 block of Space Center Boulevard.

According to Click2Houston, the accident happened around 1:45 a.m. Saturday, when their vehicle drifted into oncoming traffic before crashing into a fence and then a tree. Both of the victims were ejected from the vehicle – the man from the side of the car and the woman through the windshield. The man died at the scene and the woman was rushed to a local hospital, where she underwent emergency surgery. Her current condition is not known.

The two victims were visiting Houston from out of town.
