Meagan Philip is an Associate Attorney at McDonald Worley and oversees two of the firm’s mass tort dockets; IVC filters and Taxotere.
Meagan recently moved to Katy, TX after living overseas for several years in Trinidad and Tobago. She received her B.A in Psychology from the University of Dayton in Ohio and her J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida. Meagan completed Basic Mediation training at the University of Houston Law Center. She is licensed to practice law in Florida.
Meagan’s experience as an attorney has encompassed public interest law (representing clients to secure federal public benefits), private practice (defending corporate clients against insurance claims), and government (providing judicial support for civil injunctive relief applications). Her pro bono experience includes participation in Lawyers for Children America’s pro bono program, by representing an infant foster care child in her dependency proceedings.
