ROSENBERG, TX – A man died Wednesday morning when he stopped his car on US Highway 59 and an 18-wheeler hit him from behind, Click2Houston reports.
According to reports, the man stopped his car after hitting an animal on the highway. An 18-wheeler rear-ended his car at a high rate of speed, killing the man.
The accident happened on northbound US 59 near Reading Road. The semi-truck driver stayed on the scene, and criminal charges are unlikely.
