HOUSTON, TX – A street racer killed a driver on Cutten Road on the evening of Thursday, September 10, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
On September 10, around 6:44 p.m., Jarrod Mikel was traveling northbound in a grey 2007 Dodge Charger in the 12400 block of Cutten Rd.

Jarrod Mikel was racing with another driver near 12400 Cutten Boulevard when he struck Fidel Juarez’s Ford F-150. Juarez was killed upon impact. He was not involved in the illegal race.
Mikel was arrested by authorities after the accident. Authorities have not yet located the other driver.
