One Injured in a Small Fire in a Hotel in Las Vegas

A hotel in downtown Las Vegas was evacuated after a room caught on fire. The incident occurred on Friday morning.

Las Vegas Fire and Rescue informed the fire was reported around 6:30 a.m. at Bridger Inn Hotel, at 301 S. Main Street near the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino.

According to the Las Vegas Fire and Rescue, the fire was small and was only in one room, on a small area (carpet and mattress).

The firefighters evacuated the third floor while they were extinguishing the fire.

One person had burn injuries to their feet and hands and was transported to University Medical Center for treatment, Las Vegas Fire and Rescue reported. The fire was completely put out at 7:30 a.m.
