Bizarre car accident destroys an MLB player’s $300k sports car at an auto dealership. Trevor Bauer, the Cincinnati Reds baseball player, started the holiday season with a very odd car crash.
On Tuesday, a truck lost a tire, rolled across six lanes on a Houston highway, hit a wall, and crashed into Bauer’s 2016 McLaren 650S. Things to be even more bizarre, the tire broke the double-panned glass window and ended up crushing Bauer’s vehicle. According to the reports from the scene, this, unlike collision, left no one injured.
At the moment of the crash, Bauer’s car was stored at a Houston McLaren dealership; the vehicle was insured, but the cost of the damages was totaled.
Bauer did not seem to be bothered by this unusual crash, as he informed his followers on Twitter.
He is currently playing for the Reds after he was traded to Cincinnati from the Cleveland Indians at the 2019 trade deadline.
